Sometimes trans people feel that they would have gotten a better treatment if they would have been cis. How would you describe this visit? Do you feel that the treatment you got was as good as a cis person would have gotten?is what reviewers gave their opinion on.

Reason for the visit: HRT
Feb 2017 – In general this doctor has a very kind team. The waiting room is intercultural trans cis families and single persons. Several men are waiting for treatment or their partners. You can stay invisible. The nurses are caring and always very supportive. The learned my partner how to do injections at home or if we are on vacation.
Dr. Vogel himself is a supportive not very talkative guy. It can happen that he is not going to check you once a year by thinking you as trans have issues with the chair. Even if it is so, please remind him. He will do the check with routine and politeness. This is the only critic I have - that you have to remind him sometimes to do medical checks. That means that he is offering you space and supports your self-determination. He already knew me when I started with testoterone and to the wish of HRT he responded with no borders. My impression is he will just do injections.
I also send my (non trans, but queer) partner and friends to him - everyone was satisfied.
